APQP – Advanced Product Quality Planning
Introduction
This ePITsolutions eLearning module is dedicated to APQP. APQP is described in the aerospace
standard AS/EN/SJAC 9145. It is a structured process built up to reach the expected quality
performance for a new product, from the initial program review steps to the collection of feedbacks
when the product is in service. It positions all existing quality methods and tools all along the
development and manufacturing process for new products. It may also be applicable
for changes. This ePITsolutions eLearning module has been developed in accordance with the IAQG
recommendations that are available in the SCMH

Methods and evaluation tools
This ePITsolutions eLearning module is composed of an eTutorial and an ePractice.
The eTutorial explains, through animations and voice over:
- How APQP stands in your company and how it is built,
- The content of the different APQP phases, with the inputs, the stakeholders and the outputs for
each element of every APQP phase, - The evaluation tools that have been designed by the IAQG to evaluate the maturity level.
Exercises are proposed all along the eTutorial to help the trainee make sure he understands the
concepts. Explanations are given if the trainee is wrong in these exercises.
The ePractice is composed of 10 scored quizzes. Every correct answer in the quizzes is scored 1 point.
Every wrong answer is scored 0. 90% success rate should be targeted to be confident in the trainee’s
understanding of the whole process.
The certificate that may be issued after the training will show the time spent and the result obtained
on the quiz. The trainee can issue his certificate. At his request or at his company request, we may
also issue it and send an electronic copy. Please note that we keep the trainee enrolled for a
maximum duration of 1 month as a commitment to RGDP. Therefore, the training report will not be
accessible after this one month period – except if requested in writing differently.
The examples and scenarios have been built for the only purpose of this ePITsolutions eLearning, the
names of the companies, the appliances, the supporting documentations have been designed to help
understand the concepts. They may not be relevant on a technical point of view.
