EASA Part 145 online training including AMCs and GMs

Any maintenance organisation that performs maintenance on an aircraft registered in the European Union shall be approved in accordance with the EASA Part 145 regulation (except for the cases that are also listed in the Regulation). Every staff involved in the Part 145 activities must have an appropriate knowledge of this regulation.

Part 145 is one of the first regulations that has been adopted by the European Union in their objective to guarantee the appropriate level of safety in air transport, for the passengers as well as the citizens over whom the aircraft are flying. As EU registered aircraft are flying all over the world, the EASA Part 145 regulation has to be complied with all over the world.

The ePITsolutions online training dealing with the EASA Part 145 regulation has been built to stick to the exact wording of the regulation and its AMCs and GM, through the audio mean, and make it easy to understand and memorize, through animations. The animations enable to see what is the topic that is dealt with within the precise context of the regulation. It makes following track of the regulation quick and precise. As aircraft are flying all over the world, the Part 145 regulation includes special conditions applicable to accept alternatives, temporary or not, and avoid the aircraft to be unduly grounded.

This ePITsolutions online training is a modular training, with 4 ways to train :

  • the one who wants to train only on the Part 145 regulation applicable to all maintenance organisation, without any need to go through the specific requirements applicable to the aircraft, can move from the applicable paragraph of Part 145 to the other.
  • The one who wants to train only on the Part 145 regulation applicable to all maintenance organisations, including the paragraphs applicable to aircraft maintenance, can move from the applicable paragraph of Part 145 to the other,
  • The one who wants to train on Part 145, its AMCs and GM as applicable to all maintenance organisations, without any need to go through the specific requirements applicable to the aircraft can move from the applicable paragraph of Part 145 to its AMCs and ‘GMs, one after the other,
  • The one who wants to train on the whole Part 145, AMCs and ‘GMs can move from one item  to the other.

The trainee can also train according to his own scope of interest. The trainee from the company who does not employ airworthiness review staff, can skip the AMC 145A36 dealing with the records of airworthiness review staff even though he wants to train on the AMCs on the other topics.

We have split the training in 6 parts. The first 4 parts contain the teaching material itself, with a number of paragraphs in chronological order in each part. This helps the schedule of the training as, as a complete set, it lasts about 5 hours. Therefore, the trainee may plan to play one part every day or play all the parts on the same day, including a lunch break. Each part includes exercises that enable self assessment.

The last 2 parts are the quizz. The first one contains 40 questions on topics that should be understood by staff in companies that maintain components and aircraft. The second one contains 15 questions that are applicable for aircraft maintenance only.

When the trainee has played the different parts, he can issue his certificate. This certificate will show the time he spent on each teaching part and the results of the quiz. If the trainee forgets to issue his certificate, we can do it within one month after his enrollment. After that date, the data linked to the trainee are deleted as a commitment to RGDP ( except if requested differently)

ePITsolutions Human Factors online training is the adequate complement to the Part 145 training as the HF training that is requested by the EASA Part 145 regulation.

ePITsolutions Europe is registered as a training organisation by the French administration.
